I took my family there (we are all from Sichuan which is where hot pot originated, all of us can handle spice very well) and all of us experienced some degree of abdominal pain after eating there. The pain lasted at least two days.... and only seems to worsen. Gonna make an appointment to see my GP. if you want to experience true hotpot, the kind that’s not only spicy but tasty, go to Melbourne CBD. The hotpot there are much better in our opinion.

(April 13, 2019, 6:58 am)Very traditional Sichuan hotpot. Nice place to go with friends. Fresh food and nice staff. Rice cake with brown sugar is my favorite. Will come back for sure.

(April 1, 2019, 4:11 pm)A very hyped place but to be frank, its def not a place i'd rec for hotpot lover. Soup bases were mediocre at best. Mushroom stock lacked flavour, if you enjoy chilli then go for the hottest one (dont go any lower). All the toppings like meat slices, meat ball, fish slices, shrimp.... were average. The best one might have to be fried pork and beef tendon and tripes. Charging $3 dollar for sauce then the place needs to have a sauce station like other hotpot places (we kept asking the waitress for more sesame sauce). Waitress was really nice but hardly speak any English (could be becoz we're in Box hill but the city branch might be different).if you ever go, HAVE TO order the GLUTINOUS RICE CAKE W BROWN SUGAR. the best thing

(March 25, 2019, 6:38 pm)Traditional Chinese cuisine - it’s really hard to believe why so many people are willing to wait for a couple of few hours for dinner, Xiao long kan Hotpot strongly recommended, great food, nice staffs, I have to say it’s a very good place to go!
