This is the best Japanese restaurant i have been in. The employees are very nice and generous. The food was FANTASTIC and was value for money.
Ordered the small sushi platter for dinner for four. Made the order through Menulog, got 10% off for first time order. Sushi taste very good. Fillings are quite generous not full of rice. Well worth the money paid.
I would definitely recommend this place, great food and value for money! Probably one of best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Brisbane.
I meant to explore the King's Vegetarian & Vegan Indian Fusion for dinner last night. Unfortunately, it was close and will reopen mid-Feb so went to the next door and had a Japanese Vegetarian Dinner. Ordered the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, Wakame, Vegetarain Gyoza, Miso Soup, Agedashi Tofu and Tofu Terriyaki Udon. It was a small Japanese eatery running by two Korean ladies. First to the table was the Udon which was presented with a heart shape dish... so sweet. This udon was surprisingly good and the tofu was soft too. Spring rolls were crispy with juicy cabbage inside. Gyoza was seriously let down, the pastry was just like biscuit, vegetable ingredient was bland. Another surprise was the Agedashi tofu, which was not as soft as those used in udon and should be the worst of the same kind that I had. Overall dining experience was not bad and their price was reasonable.
I decided to give Ogawa a chance after reading the reviews tonight. I am incredibly disappointed in the food. I ordered 2 Chicken Katsu Don and chicken karaage. The chicken katsu don had no egg on either of the dishes and he chicken was burnt to the point it was black on all three dishes. I absolutely hate spending money on bad food. I will not be coming back - there are so many other better japanese restaurants around.
